About Best Preppers UK

A calm place to learn what to do, and what is worth buying, to get your household ready for the things that actually happen.

Why this site exists

We started Best Preppers UK because many UK sites about emergency preparedness are hard to use, and many lean on fear. We wanted a plain, practical place for ordinary households to get ready for power cuts, floods, storms and supply problems.

How we choose what to recommend

We start from official UK guidance, then look at what UK retailers sell. We favour simple, well-reviewed products over gadgets, and we tell you when something is not worth buying. We have not tested everything we mention, and where we have, we say so.

How we make money

Some links to retailers may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy. It costs you nothing extra. We explain it fully on our affiliate disclosure page.

What we are not

We are not an emergency service or an official source. Our guides are general advice for ordinary households. For official guidance, see the UK Government's Prepare website, and in an emergency call 999.
